Way back when Ace was just a couple months older than his son Gator, he went to stay with a very close friend of ours and her family. She fell hard for Ace’s sweet face and even sweeter demeanor. He stayed with her until he was about a year old – When he was ready to start breeding. Of course, since then, we have had many black and white, long coat Chihuahua pups but not until now have we had an Ace puppy with the same colors. When Gator was about 3 weeks old, she was over for a visit and without me even saying a word, she squealed, “Oh My Goodness! This is Ace’s baby isn’t it?” A “Grandma” knows I tell you!
She is here a lot and with every stop over comes a much desired play session with Gator. Last night’s visit included a lot of girl/mom talk and Gator just laid in her lap, like that is where he belongs, listening and cuddling. Grandma was tickled pink!
