I have shared how Gator’s grandma fell head over heels for him and after the confirmation of my concerns with his structure, her dream of making him hers was fulfilled. The moment I told her that he could go home with her, I could actually hear her heart skip a beat over the phone. Today was the day and the welcoming committee was there to greet him. Of course, his new forever family humans were tickled pink but the feline and canine members were the ones we were most excited about introducing to him. They could make or break the plan!
Skittles the cat immediately wanted to play. Gator was taken aback at first but soon realized, she was a friend, not a foe. Now Einstein, the 15 year old dachshund was not greeting him with a wagging tail. Age has taken its toll on him and the general consensus is that he will leave the young and spunky one be.
All in all, another perfect placement and I could never ask for a more perfect home for this amazing boy. We will get to watch him grow and be the best little guy in the world for an amazing family that will love him to pieces.
