Being a Monday show, the entries are usually smaller than shows on the weekend. Today was no different. There were a grand total of six entries – two dogs and four bitches – NO specials! Tino and I were the first in the ring and I am here to tell you that he did awesome! Not surfing not balking on the table just focused on me as well and swooning the judge. He officially earned his first point when the judge selected him as Winners Dog! YAHOOOOO!!!
Darius and Stella did awesome – AGAIN – and I really thought that she might get WInner’s Bitch. The judge was definitely looking long and hard at her. She showed very well – Darius and I were both very proud of her.
When TIno and I went back in for Best of Breed, he literally walked in with an “I got this” attitude. Seriously! There was a female in heat outside the ring before we went in and that got him all pumped up. He carried it into the ring and the judge took note. So much so that she selected our 7 month old sweet boy of Best of Breed! And we got owner-handler! Unfortunately Alexis wasn’t feeling well and we had to come home early. I have this feeling this will not be his one and only chance in the Group ring. I surly hope not at least! Either way I was beyond honored and excited – TIno is the man!!!!
