With this being Blue’s first litter, it’s interesting to watch her adjust to all of the changes. She is a gate jumper and really seemed peeved that she can’t do that anymore. She just sits at the gate and whines now.
And of course there is also the extra weight that she is having to carry. When you pick her up she winces and breathes heavy when she sleeps in any position other than on her back. She has never been one to really expose her belly for rubs – that was until now. She seems to roll over the moment you enter the room – but also gives thank you kisses as soon as the rub is over.
Her girlish figure is gone and her sides are filling out with rock hard bumps of rolling and kicking pups.
