With KC’s skittish display yesterday, I knew it was a crap shoot this morning – Even after a long, hard rest over night. She did great showing off her gait until she saw my husband sitting ring side, inspiring her to stop, bark and beg for him to play. Each time we passed him she did the same, throwing off our rhythm completely. Of course, we had a couple of other distractions outside the ring that threw me off and then I realized my jacket was buttoned up wrong – Oye Vey!
What a rough ring adventure. We got third place but it wasn’t without some very unnerving moments. All I can say, I love my bestest buddy friends! They were to help me take this semi-train wreck and helped me turn a lot of it into some chuckle moments. 😀
