I know the bond between Boomer the Pug and my daughter was instant but when I saw this today, I knew it was a forever bond. A bond I always see with a Chihuahua and it’s “person”.
Alexis was out in the dining room for the majority of the afternoon working on her card making. Boomer sat just this side of the gate that separates the dogs from the front of the house, from the moment she stepped away until she retuned, hours later. He laid on the ground, watching her every move, anticipating her return. I have countless photos of our Chihuahuas, past and present, doing the same thing when their special person leaves the living room. I am so happy to see that it’s the same with this equally as special breed.
