We have a weekend packed with dogs shows and interestingly enough, we have ring conflicts all three days! Both Juniors as well as Chihuahua breed have an 8:30 am ring time today, Saturday and Sunday. The girls have been working with the dogs to get their chance to gain their breed ring experience in both varieties. Beamer, Smoochie and Spike were all entered in breed and the timing today just DIDN’T work in our favor.

I had to literally run from the Junior’s ring to pull our two smooth coats out of their crates and into the ring. Needless to say, I am sure the frazzled emotions I was experiencing trickled right down the lead and the rush created a reaction in Beamer I never would have expected – =He nipped and tried to jump off the table! He did great gaiting on the lead, it was just the table. Freaked me the frick out because he is such a lover boy. He actually went right into the arms of friends afterwards and was giving kisses to complete strangers. So it looks like the table is now an issue we will need to work out with him. He did get Reserve to Winner’s Dog though!

Smoochie actually did pretty darn good! She behaved very well on the table and walked with her tail somewhat up around the ring. She got second place and another ribbon to add to her little collection.

We were all dazed and confused – Look at our faces in this photo! Me AND the dogs!

Back to the Juniors ring I must run to watch the girls…..
