Yes, Bubbles’ sweet baby girl has a name – She was actually named within minutes of her arrival. You see, a very special friend and her mom were there for the entire whelping via FaceTime. The stress brought on by the anticipation of a singleton was calmed by the giggles and smiles and for that I will be forever grateful. So to commemorate the momentous occasion, I asked mom what her favorite cocktail was. “A martini…with extra olives” You guessed it. That’s our latest addition’s name!
And today she turned one week old. She is officially over her birth weight – Weighing in at 4.2 ounces. YAHOO!!! We are still bottle feeding our homemade formula and Bubbles is still taking care of all other puppy rearing needs – Thank goodness!!
