Always A Burrower!
When checking on Smoochie and her babies today I found a blanket with a blob underneath, making me chuckle something fierce.
I suppose I should start out this story by explaining that Smoochie, being a smooth coat, during the day, can usually be found under a blanket on our couch. Smooth coats seem to love to burrow under blankets and pillows when every possible.
Yes, it is one of the hottest summers on record, and she is still burrowing. I have no air circulating in the “nursery”, with the AC vents closed tight. SO to find her burrowing her babies, I smiled and laughed – once a burrower always a burrower!
