He’s the sweetest and most social one of the bunch – So much so that we would have been more than happy to have him live his life out with the Figgy crew! Seriously – the best temperament!!! And it didn’t take long for Georgia to see exactly what I was talking about. She fell head over heels at first sight and now he is going to the best forever friend with travel benefits! SO COOL! Congrats to both Hurricane aka Charlie and Georgia!

The post Sandy aka Kisses first appeared on Figgy's Chihuahuas AKC Show Breeder/Handler in Florida.]]> Another exciting day for this litter. We drove out to Rita’s tonight bring Sandy for her to evaluate. This was her pick of the litter, with her reminding her so much of her sweet Fanny. It didn’t take long for Rita to fall and fall HARD – Her new name is Kisses (You can bet I am saving Sandy’s name for a future pup). I’m so excited that she will be staying around so I can watch her grow and mature and of course be there to root her on as she excels in Rita’s program.

While I was there this evening rediscovering enough to give the next set of vaccines to the remaining pups (sometime I am just too squeamish to do on my own) and I also got me some Eddie time! Being that he is the grandfather to this litter, I see so much of him but in the puppies too. He is such a sweet boy and I was so honored to have in a short period of time that we did. He is a great addition to my program and I’m honored to continue his legacy.

Finding a great friend home that will also take two puppies from the same litter? A true miracle! Guess what? A miracle has occurred! When Carole contacted me with interest in both the boys I was beside myself! They were such a perfect family and these boys were so bonded. It would make the transitions so easy. And they would have their own lap absolutely perfect!

Millie truly is the most amazing mommy I ever had my program. Not only is whelping and raising the puppy effortless for her but she is so easy-going and friendly. She knows no stranger. She gave Carole and Gerald two paws up, greeting them with tails a waggin’ and jumping right into their laps to meet them and give her approval.

Congratulations to you all! The perfect forever family two perfect boys to call your own!

The post I Think This Is It! first appeared on Figgy's Chihuahuas AKC Show Breeder/Handler in Florida.]]> When Gail came to the house to meet Olive she also met our sweet Barbie. She saw instantly how gentle and sweet she is but knew she didn’t have the space take home yet another one. She did know of a family that would love to make her a part of theirs though. A nice quiet home with male Pomeranian mix that would love to have a cuddle and playmate. Barbie LOVES male dogs – Females is touch and go since she is on the submissive side.

Today was the day for Trelane and Barbie to meet and I have to say, it was really rather sweet. It only took a couple minutes for the trembling to stop and for Barbie to relax in her lap. She looked up at her, even giving her a quick kiss on the face, and then seemed to be like, “Ok, this is good!”

A lap all of her own is what we want for any of our retired dogs and Barbie is one that oh-so deserves that! Congrats to our sweet girl and her new forever family! Thank you for loving her!

The post It’s Perfect! first appeared on Figgy's Chihuahuas AKC Show Breeder/Handler in Florida.]]> Our sweet Olive has become rather overwhelmed in our home with so much activity. She has become quirky the older that she gets and finding her a quiet home with only one other dog to share a lap with is harder than you might think. It also had to be a home of a family friend because we love Olive to pieces and want to see of often. She just needs a calmer place to call her own and Gail is the prefect fit! She has loved Olive since she was born and when she heard about what we are looking for she knew she could very well be that perfect fit! We are going to give it a go and see how she does. Barbie didn’t adjust well to a quiet home – I guess she loves our chaos? Either way, we need to see how Olive adjusts. I hope it is as perfect as I image it will be!!!

Oops was only days old when Jill said I WANT HIM!!! Being her boy’s nephew I could see why she would love to have him in their family. And of course, he is the sweetest thing EVER so he would make a wonder addition anywhere! We have been planning this day ever since. It’s a long haul from up in North FL but he is well worth the trip that’s for sure. He is everything she thought he was and then some. Happy Happy Day!!! Congrats to you and yours 😀

She so deserves a forever lap and forever family to spoil her rotten. She’s been such an amazing mom and amazing dog for us but to have a family that can devote one-on-one time to her would be awesome! Joining Izzy and Suri., I think Barbie would make a wonderful addition. So here is to trying to transition Barbie! I’m very excited for her as well as Tracy and Hope!

We knew it would it be a girl but would it be Rio or Simone? Simone is the one that caught her eye. And how could she not? The most adorable face on the planet! We set up a time for them to meet the girls to make their choice.

I was right about Rio. She was definitely the perfect choice for the boys. But it was pretty obvious that Simone had Morgan’s heart. The perfect lapdog for her while the kids romped with Rio. I always say two Chihuahuas are way better than one. And to choose to from the same litter? Who could ask for anything more? Both girls now have an amazing new forever family! Congrats to you all!
