The puppies are officially 8 weeks old today and we have decided to place all three boys in pet homes. Each is sweet as ever and would make fabulous new-additions. Vice and Thunder would make wonderful family pets! And I am here to tell you that this photo was a true miracle. That’s right! ONE single photo that came out decent. Their individual photos turned out beautiful – The group shot? Not so much. I didn’t even anticipate one so this was a true win in my book! Especially since it is better than last week’s group shots!

It’s All Fun and Games Until…

I let the puppies out to play this afternoon and the mayhem made me chuckle. When I bought this toy for the puppies they were young and sweet and innocent. It’s crazy how different things are three weeks later. I mean, they are crazy wild and rambunctious!

They have torn down the sides, scattered the balls and are swinging from the hanging pieces. Clearly I need to pack up all of the “pieces” and save them for future litters to be able to enjoy – when they are in the 3-5 week-old range!

Handful Doesn’t Quite Explain It

The puppies are 6 weeks old and boy have their personalities blossomed! We have some very energetic little ones here and they are going to be a LOT of fun to watch grow up. And the boys are going to be amazing family pets!! BIG TIME!!!

They all have a bit of their parents personalities – Two of our most energetic and social dogs in the house! Their babies got that for sure – Some more than others. Can you figure out how from these pictures? I believe it is our last week to get a group shot of them that’s for sure!

Can’t Get Enough

Since this litter was less than a week old, my daughter-in-law has taken every opportunity to gather all five puppies in her arms and hold them. I have photos to prove it too! Once a weekend she cuddles them up and takes in all of the puppy breath and kisses.

They are almost 6 weeks old now so we will have to see how many more times she will be able to gather them – They will soon be too rambunctious for such a hold. She needs to enjoy it while she can. Their adorableness will not be containable for much longer!

Grow With Me Ball Pit

So there are several breeders out there who have used this baby toy with their puppies. I have put off the purchase since it is hefty in price for puppies to chew and urinate on. Was it worth the investment? I found am open-box item on Amazon for 30.0 and thought I would give it a go – Oh My Word SO WORTH IT!! The puppies LOVE it! It kept them challenged, entertained and contained – Until the smartest ones found the holes int he side – then there was no stopping them! I looks like we will have daily ball pit play sessions!

Skipped A Generation?

Teddy puppies are known for sugar drops around the age of 6 weeks. My first Teddy litter had all three girls crashing at 5 weeks of age – KC was the first! Now Milly is not a Teddy daughter but she is a KCee granddaughter and that is obviously where the hypoglycemia comes into play because Little Miss Sandy was the first to have a sugar drop in this litter – Followed by her sister Tini. I noticed they just weren’t “with it” as they were yesterday and with a check of the gums (white as a ghost they were) a dose of Nutri-Cal was administered. Luckily I caught it before Kayro Syrup was required. They both bounced back rather quickly and none of the boys ever crashed but you know we will be keeping an eye on them over the next couple of weeks. Thank you Terri for helping me tend to the girls!

5 Weeks Old

The puppies are 5 weeks old and they are truly coming into their own. Their little personalities are starting to come through and I see we are going to have some pistols in the bunch. I cannot wait to them them blossom even more over the next several weeks and I can tell you now I am very excited by how this litter is turning out – Personality a plenty for sure!

3 Week Old Chunkers

OMG are these puppies some rolly pollies!!! Millie has uber milk for sure because the fat on these guys is just too adorable! I see them taking their own sweet time getting up and being mobile. Why when their food source comes to them every hour?? I went ahead and arranged the whelping box so half is covered with a pee-pad and is flat – hopefully they will get up and waddle over to potty! Time to work off the chunk guys!

Too Cute Not To Capture

I just had to snap photos of this adorable puppy pileup! LOOK AT THEM!!! This is such a laid-back litter of puppies. Seriously, very chill! I can pick them up, lay them on their backs in the palm of my hands and just love on them for hours. I cannot tell you how many times I have had them suckling on my nose or fingers. They are all just so sweet. I cannot wait to see if they stay that way – Mom and dad’s temperaments are some of my favs – I hope some have Milly’s!!!

Pluming Up Nicely

As with all litters born here, I documented the puppies at 3 days old yesterday with a weigh-in and photoshoot. They are all gaining weight nicely, plumping up like I expected. I also now have a chance to see what some of their markings might be. We have two cream with Irish markings, like their mommy and three marked like their daddy Georgie, white with fawn spots – some more random that others. I can’t wait to see them change even more! SO exciting!

They are a very chill litter of puppies with only one being vocal (the last boy born). Milly has taken to them in an equally chill fashion. She clearly does what she needs to and is attentive but not overly consumed. She still loves attention from her humans so we give it to her often – allowing us to also handle her pups a lot. It’s a twofer!!! Love when that happens!
