Today they found Breezy’s bed and all piled into a sun-seeking huddle. Too adorable not to capture!

Georgie and TIno did fabulous with their training, each remaining focused on me for the majoring of their training. Now when it was time to do the girls everything changed – and I couldn’t help but laugh!

I wanted to work with Stella one-on-one but she was not going to have it. She just wanted the food – Eating my entire stash! I sent my husband into the house to bring me back out some bait and that is when Blue snuck out into the backyard with him. Apparently having competition helped Stella focus on me and what we were trying to train her on. But that also meant when we decided it was time to treat the girls Blue was working her way into finding a chance to get more food! Pawing at the sandwich bag filled with bait was all it took. Bait went EVERYWHERE! We scrambled to pick it up so the girls didn’t eat at all. Clearly there were remnants because they decided to roll in them! Now we have two girls this smell like beef!

Clearly the girls sensed the boo-boos because they will not leave them alone. Bandaids or not, they want to clean and lick and tend to my cuts. It’s very sweet but also very ticklish and in some ways dangerous. I am going to trip over them!!

They are both running in front of me while I am walking and rolling over for belly rubs. I mean like, “I could trip over you like THAT” run and stop in front of me. I will tell you it has made be become much more aware of where I am stepping but still – it’s adorable and equally odd.

All of our dogs eat different combinations of the food we have. Some have extra stuff while others have basic kibble (they all get coconut oil) and they all eat in different locations so that they only eat THEIR food. Dewey is the slowest of all of our eaters and he has soft, gooey food. What ever is left over gets tossed onto the back deck for the rest to devour. Can you guess what’s going on based on the picture? I was just walked towards Dewey to let him out. YHEP! They want his leftovers!!!

First, she joins in the Chihuahua howls when a new person walks into the house or room.  She’s found her voice that is for sure and it is much louder than any of the Chihuahuas. She also has given up on the dog bed we purchased for her – you know, the one large enough for her to comfortably lay on? She chooses the tiny beds to roll herself into a ball to lay in.

This week she has decided that the back of the couch is her next favorite napping spot. We have a couple Chihuahuas that have claimed the back of the couch since they were puppies. Clearly she discovered the comfort and has found her spot! Right behind me on the couch of course.
