This was our fifth year designing and running the booth and I cannot tell you how fun it is to see So many people comeback year after year to visit us. Of course Paul and Jane traveled from Rhode Island to watch the Championships and Specialty, but they also took in the booth this afternoon. So many other family members and friends came to the booth. Dr. Mario Took in the fun of the weekend and stop by to show his love of the breed. You also got to catch up with Rita and little Cupie. Rita has done an amazing job keeping her happy and as healthy as possible- all things considered. We definitely missed having Alexis there on Saturday. Our little girl is growing up, and of course making us very proud!

Tino was the main man and he received a ton of attention as well as socialization! As our example of a long coat Chihuahua puppy, he was also and a lot of our Photo Booth snapshots. He truly seemed to soak it all in and love every ounce of attention. Boy, I cannot wait to show him in 2017! He’s going to be one very confident boy!

Georgie on the other hand got a tad bit overwhelmed with so many hands reaching down to pet him. I swear, until the day he crosses over the rainbow bridge, he has every right in the world to be head shy. Having been picked up by a hawk, can you blame them? Last year he was the king of this puppy pen. Clearly he had no problem handing that title over to Tino!

I cannot wait to come back next year and share the love of the Chihuahua with all those that stop by and visit. I have to say, I loved manning the photo booth and I think it was a big hit! See you next year!

I am proud to announce that Stella walked around the ring actually had her tail up for the final go around. She balked to bit on the table but it did not growl nip or bite! That’s huge for us! beyond proud and can’t wait to see how we do tomorrow. Even it’s the same, it’s a win!

Her socialization continued when Terry offered to take her around with her around the show site. She was stiff like a statue for only a couple of minutes. Again, more progress! All in all I’m very happy with the training and experiences Stella has received here in Ocala.

Well Stella night we’re broadening our horizons, Alexis got to show Priya in breed and Breezy in Juniors. They both got dumped but Alexis loved the experience. Breezy still looks way too uncomfortable on the ring. Not quite sure how’s to increase your confidence but that is our new goal for 2017.

Our other news of the day? Rita brought Flirt (who has been renamed Cupie) with her for the weekend and we got to see her progress. She’s doing very well, all things considered. Found out late in the day that they were doing an Eye Clinic. It to get Stella’s eyes done. She passed with flying colors! Like there was ever a doubt?? We also got news on Linguine progress at the fast cat run. That little dude ran his heart out and is now the fastest Cavalier King Charles spaniel on record!

Flirt did NOT receive he ravines as she has enough to battle without the addition of live viruses. She is confirmed (not like we needed it) hydrocephalic and she is currently struggling with her sight so, we will be on constant watch for any swelling for the indefinite future.  The other puppies did fabulous, all receiving a perfect bill of health . And no potty accidents in the crate! YAHOOO!!!

We are still very concerned about Flirt and know that she could potentially pass away at any time. She is hydrocephalic and the openings in her skull are immense. She is still feisty as ever, eating and sleeping normally and is now officially separated from the other puppies to keep her safe. Tino on the other hand is our pick of the litter, with a structure and temperament to die for! He is truly our pick for the next Figgy Champion and I cannot wait to see him in the show ring in January!
