Last night, Suri started cleaning up the TOP end instead of the bottom while I was feeding Hope. I swear you could see the “ah-ha” moment lightbulb turn on as she got a taste of the formula straight from the syringe.

Up until then, she was cleaning off the remnants around Hope’s mouth or consuming the portion I added to her moist food dish.  It took close to three weeks for her to realize exactly what it was I was feeding her daughter and now, she cleans Hope’s mouth, competing for any drops she can get. You can see Hope’s frustration, trying to suckle at the syringe and fight off her own mother’s tongue at the same time.
