Back during the days before our club’s Specialty, I had to make the decision if we were going to breed Treasure. she is getting close to the age of 3 and we didn’t want to put it off too much longer. So the day before I packed up and left, I decided that she and Eddie would give it a go. They are related distantly and the relations are from Teddy’s pedigree – Exactly how we wish to build our line. So I threw it up to fate and let them get their grove on.
Honestly, I didn’t think the breeding took. The one tie witnessed makes today her day 50. A week ago is when she finally popped and today I finally felt movement! She seems to have doubled in girth in the last 7 days – So much so that I think there is at least two pups in there. Thank GOODNESS! One is never fun and generally equals a c-section. So now we watch and wait…
