More craft table progress to show off! I am sticking to my goal to get these projects done I tell you! The test phase on my dressier designs in now complete and filling the cart in our little shop on the web is the next step. I will be unveiling three initial designs in the next 30 days. I have two of them completed – Here is one of the three that will be available in a multitude of...
Read MoreI know my promise to stock the shelves with new harness designs has since come and passed, but I have been working on the prototypes. The girl’s new harness dress design has been tested on camping trips and now all I need to do is make some to add to the Chi Gear Store. Now way back when, I also started working on a dressier version for the boys too. A collared vest with a schnazzy look to match the girl’s ruffly skirted one. I made the prototype this week and while running errands today, slipped one on to Dewey to test it out. So far, so...
Read MoreWe got a late start to packing up this morning. Not only knowing that the rest of our crew are happy and safe with Karen, but honestly, truly enjoying the beauty and relaxation this park offers, we wanted to soak in as much as we could before check out time. The boys – and Rane – were the most relaxed they have been while in the pen during a camping trip. Perhaps it is the sounds of the crashing waves or the salty air? Since we are still working on socializing Rane, we brought her along and it has truly paid off. We also got to test out my new harness dress design – Don’t’ ya just love the whole two birds one stone thing? Rane walked from edge to edge of the park with no problem or panic. She was approached by other dogs – Some 100 times bigger than her – and not once did she hide or wrap herself around my legs. I cannot say she walked boldly, but she walked and was approached by complete strangers without issue! YAHOO!!! Of...

They usually stay in our guest bedroom and if we have a second litter at the same time, they stay in our bedroom. Once the puppies are up and walking, we move them with their mom to our Puppy Kindergarten downstairs for their socialization. This is usually when our moms have to accept each other and to lighten up on their protective urges. It’s their own natural instincts kicking into gear so we are patient for that first week – Their time to adjust. We have guests in our home arriving and, well, we need our “guest...
