Being cooped up in a crate – no matter how big – has been an adjustment for Barbie, who is accustomed to having the entire guest bedroom to roam. Of course, at home, she can pop right into the whelping box to tend to her pups but here in the camper, she is either with them – or not with them. She is in with the pups throughout the night but during the day, I take her out every couple of hours to stretch her legs, gobble food and get some major belly rubs and attention.
She seems to found her new favorite spot in the camper an that is in my bed, which just so happens to be right beside the puppy crate. Pretty smart mommy move Barbie!
