While my morning was filled with the excitement of getting to show my very own bred-by for the very first time at a CCA National Specialty, my afternoon and evening were just as action packed!

Tino didn’t show as great as he did on Thursday but he still showed his title butt off. He’s a puppy and he showed the world that today.  Playing with the lead is his go-to “Im a puppy” move and he did get some giggles out of spectators. I was just so proud to be there and to be able share my special boy. We didn’t make any cuts but thats ok – We both had a great time and thats all that matters!

I was able to run back to the room and get in my comfy clothes to be able to watch the rest of the competition.  Getting to watch my friend Lana win the breed was amazing! I have been watching her and Astro since we was a puppy!! Sitting ringside in my usually spot (in the Best West Crew section) made my heart hurt a little bit. It made me miss my Marcy, who didn’t attend this year. I sat in her spot – Right next to Linda (or her traditionally saved seat with a note) I also got to hang with Suzanne and meet more of the West Coast people. I met Ivan last night at the Top 20 event but today we got to talk dogs. Specifically Rocco! Specifically a future breeding with Rocco! SO EXCITING!!! SO in addition to dogs I also learned a new photo pose – Don’t think I have it mastered?

Tonight was the general membership meeting So for the third year in a row, I will be a Board member. In addition to the Webmaster and Historian of course. Another two years of my hands being full.. It’s all good – the Club AND the Breed are well worth the time and energy!
