It was a great morning at the Greater Daytona Dog show today. First of all, I have to thank our Judge, Mr. De Villeneuve for seeing our sweet Georgie for the special man that he is. Georgie showed his butt off today and was totally rewarded for it with the Judge giving him the cross-over and awarding him Best of Winners. Another point towards his Champion title – YAHOOOOO!!!
As we moved onto the long coats, I have to hide behind people and gear the moment that Alexis walks into the ring with KC. It’s as if she feels that she needs to have me in eye-sight to know I am not leaving her in the ring? Dunno what it is but the moment that she CAN’T see me is the moment that she kicks into show gear.
Today she showed her butt off! We entered her to help build a major for everyone so when she place 2nd in the Open class with some amazing competition, I gasped with glee. And she got to go back in for Reserve Winners Bitch! Afterwards everyone went n and on about how fabulous she looked. Here I thought she was just a warm body with a less than ideal blow coat. Come to find out that thinned coat allowed everyone to see her amazing topline! KC did a LOT of impressing today. Including with the boys. I think she is going into season!
